A lot of changes occur at the onset of springtime. The weather makes a shift toward brighter, sunnier days. The flowers are in full bloom, earth’s creatures are scurrying about, and most schools shut down to allow teachers and students some downtime. At this time, we begin spring-cleaning to refresh our living environments.
This spring, I would like to encourage you to take advantage of this time to rest and relax so you can be revived to break into spring with renewed vigor! Use this time to reset with some much-needed self-care. Check your mental, emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual health. What self-care remedies might you require in any or all of these areas?
Use this as a time of rest and relaxation to reflect back on the last few months. Ask yourself, “Am I moving in the direction I desire?” If not, determine what steps to take to get you to your desired path. Use this time to envision where you will be by the end of the summer. That’s right, summer will be here and gone before you know it. What plans might you make to ensure you are able to take advantage of summertime?
There is no better place to be than right where you are. So use this spring break wisely. Being refreshed, renewed, and rejuvenated will help you to be as prepared as possible to accept what your future has for you.
