March! Take action! Keep the momentum going! Maybe that’s why the third month of the year is called March. It is a reminder to remember your intentions and goals for the year and carry on. Now is not the time to give up and throw in the towel. The New Year is still getting started.
I recently saw a Facebook post in reference to the crowded fitness center that read, “I can’t wait until February when everyone gives up their New Year resolution.” Well, we are not giving up! Remember this is the year we make it happen. I, for one, began a workout regimen consisting of boot camp at 6 a.m. in the morning. We lift 25-pound kettle bells amongst other integral training. The trainer coached me on a weighted squat: squat, stand and lift the kettle bell to my chin, and back down again. He cheered me on telling me the faster I lift, the lighter the bell feels. When we get the momentum going, the weight does seem lighter and easier to bear.
A busy load can make the day go by faster, and not only does the day go by faster, so do you. You seemingly make wiser choices with no time to waste, you get razor sharp about what is important, your priorities and tasks become clear, you say no to less important demands, and you make life happen!
